1st Suck – Very slow process
I have sign up the Maxis Broadband on 4th FEB 2007, but the Maxis come to install for me on nearly middle of march. it delay 1 month plus.
2nd Suck – Stupid system, no updated
When i receive 1st bill. it stated i have start the service at 7th FEB 2007 (few days after the date i apply), there make no sense to me. immediate i call to maxis to ask, the operator said waive the RM68 for that month, just need to pay RM100 for the activation fees.
3rd Suck – Lausy service
15th APR 2007,Last Sunday, i not able to connect the internet, so to Monday and Tuesday, i though is bloody service interrupt again. because on end of march, whole week have interruption, some time cannot connect, some time can, but connection is GPRS only, and always disconnect, average 5 minute 1 time. i call to axis, they told me i stay at 5th floor, signal not good, but previously week was good, signal is HSPDA always, the bandwidth is around 300 to 400kbps for download.
4th Suck – Simply bared my service
17th APR 2007, Tuesday, only i receive my 2nd bill, 18th APR 2007, Wednesday, I started to call the Maxis help desk, they said i did paid my bill and bared my line, after pay the bill, maximum wait 24 hour will able to use.
what the hell of Maxis doing? i am owing RM168 only, some more are separated bill, 2nd bill just receive( 1st bill is activation fees RM100, 2nd bill is 1st month bill RM68)
5th Suck – Different word, just now said after 24 hour, now said 2 hour
Immediately I go to pay the bill 8pm (wed 18th APR), the service center girl told me after 2 hour will able to use.Ă‚Â I keep on trying, still cannot connect after 2, 3 hour, even next morning also same. Until the next day after i back from company, i try, still cannot, already 24 hour.
6th Suck -Useless help desk
I have use the phone come with the maxis broadband to call 123 (Toll free help line) the help desk unable to answer my question, ask me to call 1800 88 2000, but i didn’t dot it, i have call again 123, another operator answer me, the operator have checked my bill, the bill was settle, but she unable to verify my problem, ask me to call 1800 82 2000. What the hell is the maxis help line. Other tel co just need to call 1 number, they able to solve all the question, even they don’t know how to answer, they also will ask to wait for few minute to find out the answer or call me back shortly
7th Suck – RUDE help desk
20th APR Friday morning, i call maxis 1800 82 2000, the operator check my status, all was ok. I did not bring along my modem to company, so i wait until back home, at the end still the same. My temple are very hot, i hv to call the center to F*** them. After complaint the service, the help desk girl unable to solve my problem, said will call me back shortly, immediate close my phone, i not yet ask her name also. What a rude service…at the end did not get any call from Maxis. Really suck, let me wait the whole night.
8th Suck – Low Quality Modem
When the 1st day i install this service, once on the modem, after 1 or 2 min will automatic connect, bit after few day, i not able to get connect. i have to browse in the modem http://192.168.0.1 to manually connect the service. How i going to do if i don’t have experience in Networking? or i am a total 0% IT knowledge?
I realize my modem setting are all gone, when i call the help desk today morning 21th APR 2007, they ask me to check the LED light in front of modem, all are normal, I has spoken to the help desk that the APN configure was no data, but they said my modem was no problem if the RSSI ‘s LED is light on.
After half hour, the Help Desk has call back, ask me to reset the modem, restart my PC, they said they has reset my account location. At the end still the same problem, i call back and mention on the APN Configure, instead want the setting from them, after they give me, every thing was done. After i when home, the setting has gone again, i has to key in again and then it can connect. What the hell are the modem quality
Almost 1 week i hv no internet use, are they going to deduct 1 week for me in my bill? what i can say is MAXIS SUCK

well just can not release the stress i get this few days…saw this page, i would also like to drop some comment and problem i have encounter with maxis boardband service. Just to share my experince with all friend who want to use maxis boardband…
I have registed with maxis boardband on 11/6/07 in any maxis stored as claim by Maxis Helpline infomation. ok then i go to SS2 maxis centre to registed it. The sales person inform me that i need to Wait for 02 week in order to get my Wireless modem, as claim by them thier appionted vendor will call me and the installer will come to my house to install the wireless modem. and the sales person make the time arragement for me to have the modem install.
1 suck i get is when on 25/6, the installation time is 9am , i wake up at 8.30 and wait for the installer come to fix the modem with full of suprise because was just wondering how is this boardband service all about and how can maxis offer? but i wait until 9.30am …still no ppl is calling me or come to fix the modem..so i just call to maxis, the maxis staff ask me to have passion on this because the time is from 9am till 10am…anytime between this the installer will come…have passion to wait for this..OK fine i just wait. but then after 10am still there is nothing from them ….so i give second call to maxis.when the person pick up call, and i explan to him the situation and they appologise to me and say will check for me. ( Very confidence in the 1st place to ask me to wait at anytime from 9am – 10am, Sure the installer will come wor)ok then i wait till 12noon ..still no body call me …except i keep calling them to check with them wherether the installer is coming or not….
after that i give call to maxis to ask them am i suppose to keep calling them and check with the status of this stupid installer is coming or not. but the maxis staff is very confidence that thier installer will definately come to install the thing for me…and then at 6pm i get incoming call from a stranger which the vendor is calling me and say they are very hardworking and can work till very late to come and install the modem for me..( haha…very hardworking vendor which maxis is appreciate thier hardwork) ok then they have come to my house at 9.30pm. and make the installation. ( few thing to drop here, They say in very nice way, talk also very nice…but here some additional information to share, i have been sitting in my house for more than 12 hours to wait for them to come, end up they send 02 stranger in casual wear come to my house at 9.30pm??? it’s not the IT knowlegeble technician installer, but it only SENDER (LIKE OFFICE BOY)- do not known computer which also dun known how to properly plugin LAN cable, spolie my newly bought note book, they claim my note book is too new and not suitable to use it because the note book is using window vista ( what a funny person ) vista can not go to Maxis Boardband kah??? then i give them my old note book which using window XP. but it still can not go online. thne only the installer tell me, he say: Maxis is very bad, some time they no do the setup properly, so now u can not go online till maxis active your account. (???????? my curious is why at the 1st place if the account is not active, the installer should known and should clariying in the 1st place wherether the account is active or not be rather telling me story of claim that my new notebook is not suitable to use due to i am using window vista??? ok That is the kind and quality of installer whose maxis board band is using , so becareful.
2nd suck i get is,…..maybe i should not let this installer(Office boy) ever step into my house, or ever touch my notebook, because when i registed with maxis i have ask a quetion to maxis people, i ask : i am applying for a wireless modem why it’s neccesary to have your installer to come to my house to install the modem for me?? they answer me: No sir, we will send a profeesional to your place to install and do the setup for you. so u need to wait 02 week for them to come. OK i take thier world. but end up , i have my note book LAN port spoile due to thier careless, and i need to release 02 indian race young stranger wearing casual wear and come to my house at 9.30pm.
3rd suck is; after all this untill today, 28/06/07, i still can not use the modem. then just now i have call to them again, they claim my acct is not created yet and they can not view my acct. and ask me to wait.
I HAVE A WORLD TO SHARE WITH ALL THE FRIEND WHO WANT TO USE MAXIS BOARDBAND SERVICE IS , WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT. U HAVE NO CHOICE BY LETTING THOSE ( DISPACTH ) TO HELP U INSTALL FOR YOUR COMPUTER, MAKE SURE YOUR COMPUTER IS NOT THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY OR ELASE THEY DUN KNOWN HOW TO USE YOUR COMPUTER. SERIOUS !!!!!! NO JOY!!!!!! AND BE A FORGETFUL PPL WHEN THEY ASSIT YOU TO INSTALL OR DONE THE SERVICE FOR YOU. FORGIVE THEM FOR BORKEN ANY PART OF YOUR COMPUTER BECAUSE THEY JUST A OFFICE BOY, AND AS CLAIM BY THE VENDOR OF THEM, PLEASE PITTY THEM FOR A VERY VERY LOW PROFIT MARGIN THEY ARE GETTING FROM INSTALLING THE MODEM IN YOUR HOUSE AND THAT IS WHY THEY CAN NOT AFFORT TO HIRE EXPENRICE AND KNOWDLEGEBLE PERSON TO HELP YOU ON YOUR INSTALLATION. BUT THEY HAVE TRY THIER BEST BY GIVING YOU ( THE DISPACTH BOY). to my surprise maxis only allocated rm300 call credit to be share by these 2 phone line. so i called requesting to increase the credit limit per month. their customer care agent said i can only upgrade the limit after 2years usage of these line. bugger…my previous digi offer rm500 credit limit for the start.

one of the month my line is barred due to late payment. so i call “123” wanting to check on my minimum payment amount. call attempt failed cos my line being barred! HOLY S**T!! they even charge customer for calling their care line center?!?! digi offering this service for FREE you a** hole!! I was redirected by their IVR and I select “0-to speak to our customer consultant”. from there i was redirected to their IVR msg saying something about “maxis payment center is open 24/7”-in 4 languages (eng, chi, bahasa & tamil). that’s it! this their customer care consultant “speaking” to their “value” customer.

i made a complain to maxis few months ago. telling them that thier voice service is getting worse. i.e: i surveyed those who are using maxis line and they’re all on the same experience. btw, i changed 3 phones also -same shit.
maxis replied, got some fool to try to “soft-skill” me. he kept asking where am frm, and assumes tat am jz having my prob in my area, and i kept repeating that i run arnd during work, am actually exp these probs all arnd klang valley, not jz my area.
in the end, he told me that maxis plans to upgrade/add stations(voice access points i think)in my area… which clearly shows he dont understand wth i explained all that while…wasted my time!
…this is why/how our complains reach no where and they jz operate as they are as long as they are earning big with “tipu makan” strategies… sigh

Maxis sucks big time! Please stop using any service with Maxis. I was asked to take my international passport to maxis centre just to activate international roaming service which they had cancelled without my knowledge in the first place. Customer service quality is dissapointing for such a very high rates when it comes to charges (Maxis is well-known for having the most expensive charges in the country). Been a customer for 5 years and being such a telco giant in Malaysia, they don’t care losing one little customer. Stop Maxis crap!

I thought I am the only one who are frustrated with Maxis stupid line and service. I am totally agree that Maxis is suck, poor desk girl, slow problem solving skills.
I have been facing the phone connection problem in UiTM since August 2008, every month follow up the matter with them 3-4 times, everytime they will said, we will look into this matter but till now still unable to fix the problem.
when I complaint to them, by paying the expensive bill but get the poor line like in 1990s it is like violating our customer right, got once the desk girl even said, maxis can’t do anything on that issue.

I am totally agree with u all. Maxis suck big time. I am using its broadband and it is just slow like hell. can’t even log in to yahoo messenger, open my favorite website..talk about download.. I even emailed them but I get some shitty response like u guys. Maxis is the worst. I even change my phone from Maxis to Celcom after using it for 8 years. with maxis, u get no benefit. At all. seriously I am so pissed off. please don’t let our friends and family be the victim of maxis. let maxis go bankrupt n burn to ashes in the lowest level of hell.
luckily i never use any maxis services, either voice service or data service or whatever.. none are from maxis.. same goes to my family members.. we never support maxis!

yesterday went out for dinner at mamak, overheard a lady next table complaining about maxis. i smiled to my wife. today i receive a msg, telling me i am owing them 283.00. WTF…my monthly usage is about 50-60, that’s mean phone usage is about 20-30 only, the rest is the rental charge. I called 123 to maxis, the so call “consultant” telling me i didnot pay full payment. i did not know what kind of full payment i owed to them, i just know i paid my bill every month i received the msg which come to my phone with the due amount.
she said she couldn’t check the details b’se i don’t have the itemise billing. she said maxis will charge me rm5.00 for checking the item. i told the “consultant”, i do not want the itemise billing, i just need them to check.
but the lady loops back to the same question, she need to charge rm5 to see the billing details. i said i want to know why the bill shot up so high, you can just see from the computer, what is the use of their computer?to see porno ka? is so stupid. the lady ask me to wait and she will check. later on she told me the 200++ is the usage, it could be the internet, roaming or msg. i told the lady, i dont have any internet connection to my phone, no roaming, why is the charge come to my bill? stillthe same… RM5 to check itemise. FxxK them. can’t they use their system to SEE details rather to print out and charge to customers? probably this is one of the way stupid maxis make profit. they couldn’t solve your peoblem, they could check your details by paying them extra. i am tired to talk to the lady, and i request to speak to another person, she told me she will arrange another person to call me and hung up the phone. rude, right? if they couldn’t solve this, then they can keep the number, there are other providers.

which ever broadband, when it comes to WIFI, there are no good service because it’s using wireless frequencies.. connections are bound to drop. u just have to bare with it.
unlike using Streamyx, because it’s wired, although copper cables and not fiber, but the service is still better compared to WIFI because data is being transfered via a cable and not wireless signals.
so, despite using P1 WIMAX, Celcom Maxis or any other provider WIFI broadband, never do expect too much from the provider. Yes, their services can be upgraded but it cost money and when cost incurred, the service provider will tend to charge their customers more.
so, by by hook or by crook, whether u like it or not, when it comes to WIFI broadband, just bare with the service that’s given by the provider.

Stupid MAXIS. I have been using it for more than 15 years and cheated with data charges of whooping RM650.00/month bill. I did made a complaint to customer care and after that the sms me that my problem already resolved. And after a week they interrupted my line simply because I am late to pay my bill of RM168.00 which I am still waiting for the printed bill statement for confirmation. Verdict: I scrapped MAXIS and go for DIGI instead. Life is GOOD.
maxis aa..really pissed me off today..last week i complained about my phone getting interupted.so ok..i paid rm250.so okla.i can use my phone only for 2 days.once again..the operator said my phone interupted.i called maxis and they informed me i have rm140 overdue bill..WTH??soo i paid rm140..TODAY..interupted again..i called maxis then they informed me that i have overdue bill amount rm200++ ..omg..crazy..it took half of my salary to pay the phone bills.
Yep, MAXIS really SUCK & FUCK … Useless moron. Not only their Broadband but also same for the mobile phone bills.. Simply over charging customers. Regret to sign up with MAXIS & I am currently use prepaid .. Happy with what I am now :}. Hope those of you out there not be be the same fate with me.

1 word to describe maxis broadband and that’s SUCKS although i’ve paid the bill and they said the broadband can be use after 2hrs. After a week, when i connect the maxis broadband, a message came (RM0MaxisBB-You have reached yr quota.Speed will be reduced.Call ********** or log on to MyAccountPortal now to buy quota and continue fast browsing experience) THIS REALLY MAKE ME WANNA FUCK THIS MAXIS UP.
